Birthday cards for buddies

Hi all,can i first off all say thanks so much for all your comments re my post on the loss of my cat Mitzi . Been a strange week without her especially after losing our other cat Otiz in April. Me and Sam (my dog)have been having lots of cuddles to get through and your lovely words have helped greatly.
Now these two cards i made last week are for Tracy and Tina,lovely ladies i craft with at the Bristol meets who have just celebrated their birthdays.

R.I.P Mitzi

Sadly i had to have my cat Mitzi put to sleep yesterday when we went to the vets. She had early stages of renal failure and ready to go. She was 18 and had a good life so know she is at peace now but will miss her lots and so will my dog Sam.

Retirement card for Sally

Hi all,just a quick post as off to vet with cat shortly as not too good but have made this card for a friend at work who is taking early retirement,am going to miss her loads as she was there from when i first started working. Chosen her favourite colour purple and am sure she will be certainly enjoying her retirement.

Been to a craft show

Hi all,well went to the Taunton craft show today with Sandra and Kelly and managed to spend a few pennies and had a good day and also meet up with some other docraft buddies.

I brought a ink blending mat,decorative labels 8, di-namics photo corners die,gorjuss girl stamp (half price) and whiff of joy stamp also half price and some fab spotty card from the annemarie stall. Was very restrained today for a change....lol

House Mouse DT card

Well its Saturday so that must mean its my day to reveal my DT card for StampnCraft. Our challenge this week was to use a House Mouse image on our card and as they are so cute was no problem at all!

And for my card i challenged myself further to make a male card as really struggle with those!. For this card i stamped the image ( from the Autumn Tumble set) and coloured with promarkers and then diecut some clouds on to post its and used as a mask whilst i then applied tumbled glass distress ink for the sky. Layered up on paper and card from stash and added buttons,twine and a greeting.

Playing with some stamps & halloween bag

Hi all,well it was rather wet and windy last night and that meant no trick or treaters so does anyone want a sweet.......lol. Anyway yesterday did a little playing with a magazine ( molly blooms christmas carnival )recommended by Sandra that i picked up in whsmiths on monday that came with some cute stamps and ended up making 6 mini simple christmas cards! So this is the finished first two cards (made them all the same)

stamped 1st image in rich cocoa brown & 2nd in black (preferred the black) and coloured with promarkers, used papers and greeting from the magazine.
