Hi all, hope you are all safe and dry, more wet weather predicted down here today so will be hibernating once I have walked Sam. This is a pic of the seafront where I live from yesterday



Anyway I made this wall hanging for my mum who was down for Christmas



And she liked it :-)

A card for Peter

Hi all so I am still trawling through cards in my draft folder that I made before the craft room was taken over and this is one of them.
Can't believe my youngest son Peter was 21 on Christmas Eve! Time certainly flies by in our household. He looks rather dodgy in this pic lol



He has now participated twice in the Movember challenge to raise funds so that was the inspiration for my card.


I used a memory box die to cut the mustaches out and used the negative bit left to trim and mount onto card from stash. Tim Holtz die for the background and used my quickcutz tool and dies for the number and a stampin up punch.
Anyway hope you all survived the weather last night though not as bad here as first thought thank god. I have also managed to get my craft room back until Saturday as middle son gone to Plymouth to finish emptying his house though where I am going to squeeze any more in I don't know!

Thanks for all my birthday cards

Hi all, trying to thank everyone individually for my gorgeous birthday cards but just in case I miss anyone thanks very much.

Happy Birthday

Well all I can say is thank god for Pinterest, needed to make a birthday card in a hurray before Christmas and after all those Christmas cards my mind was blank. But Pinterest came to the rescue and this is my version of This card






Have put my own spin on it and funny how the colours have changed,they are all shades of purple in real life.
Used four different embossing folders and scraps of stampin up card. EK Success 'butterfly punch', pearls are Kort & Godt and stamped greeting from a stampin up set.
As I have used scraps for this card am entering it in to the challenge over at Pixies Crafty Workshop
Knew I had this card in draft for a reason :-)
No crafting for me at the moment since before Xmas so made cards ahead just in case as middle son is home at the moment until he moves into new place and my craft room has now become his bedroom and as he loves me so much for looking after him over Christmas with this dreaded bug has now decided to share the sore throat with me!

Gift card boxes

Time was going fast before Christmas and so I cheated and brought some gift cards but didn't want to just give them in the envelopes so made them a special box following a tutorial Here









Added some toffees to fill in the space when box is closed and all items used from stash but mainly red and gold card.
Hope you all had a good Christmas amidst this bad weather! Lost part of my fence in the wind and a normal 3 hr trip to us took my mum 6 hrs!

Well tomorrow sees the first of my family arriving for Christmas so craft room is turning into a bedroom for a few days so no crafting for a while.
