Forever friends challenge card

well over at docrafts i am the host this week for the forever friends challenge and after searching my brain for ideas decided to hold a time challenge for the challengers.they have only 30 mins to make a card and had to include at least 5 elements on their card.this is my entry and took me 23mins but i actually love it.!!so if you want to join in pop over to docrafts.

I am back!!!!!!!

well i think i am if i can remember what to do with this blogging business....lol. well sadly for me my laptop had become very poorly and i have been surviving on a old pc which would not let me blog but at last have managed to find some pennies and get my laptop all fixed and its raring to go!!!! will have to spend a few days catching up on every ones blogs now and look for a challenge to get me back in the swing of things.

i have added a card i have made for a challenge over at docrafts just to see if i can still do it,hopefully the link has worked if not help.....lol.

Blue tilda challenge card

this is my card for the docrafts tilda challenge which this week is hosted by pinkpixie,had fun making it.had to be blue,three embellishments and sparkle
Used my new tilda,coloured with promarkers-apple,blush,cocoa,royal blue,pastel blue and B93 copic. Used papermania venetian skys paper and layered up 3 times using su scallop punch (doesnt show very well in pic).used flower x-cut punch and bling for flowers and leaves (nabbed tanmos leaf punch when she came round to play and made a lot...lol). added glitter to wings. and a butterfly from stash.

Almost a challenge card and one more

Well am finding this week hard as have been going to work in the mornings at moment to prepare pre-school i run ready for next week as we have had it repainted so finding time to catch up with challenges a bit hard this week so hope to catch up once i return to work and my normal routine, funny i seem to have more time when i am working than on hols...lol

Over at docrafts the tilda challenge this week by creative coops is 'strawberries and cream'.you had to include red and cream,ribbon and three flowers as well as a tilda.

Card kit swop

Over at docrafts there is a monthly card kit swop organised by Tanmo. you have to make a card and then provide duplicate items for your partner to make a card with. They are not able to open the card you made until they have completed theirs with the kit. This is the card that i have made for my swop partner.

Wallet card for Docrafter

I had a chance yesterday to play with my prize from Aunty Sue and as i have such a long list of cards etc to make i used them to make a wallet card to hold images. Paper is basic grey from Sue as is the tilda which i have coloured with my promarkers,blush,cocoa and pink rose.used light grey for shadow around image.added a flower with button from my stash and stamped greeting.flourish is from a docrafter buddie.thanks for looking.kayx

Feeling better now

My tin for the oorchallenge

Have rescued a sad and lonely tin from my recycle box and converted it into a pen holder for the challenge over at http://oorchallengeblog.blogspot.com/. I am going to be a judge for the first challenge and have made a goodie parcel for the winner in anticipation. Have made my tin to give to my mum at easter and will fill with choccy eggs to keep her going while she crafts. i used paper from my stash,used my cropodile to make holes and added eyelets,ribbon and a sheep embellishment.thanks for looking.kayx

Truly Scrumptious challenge card No 3

Now that i have the time and the energy here is my card for the truly scrumptious challenge. This card will also be sent to my sister in law in canada so hope she likes it. Had to follow a sketch which can be found here. Image from friend is coloured with pastel pink,cocoa and magenta promarkers,matted on core-dinations card and papers from stash.made a scalloped edge with scissors and added brown ribbon.Had to include shiny or eyecatching on your card so have added bling gems in the corners and a butterfly charm.Flower is from the joanne sheen site and i have added a brown button to it.Thanks for looking.kayx

Truly Scrumptious challenge card No 2

Well this is my card for the truly scrumptious second challenge. You have to follow a sketch and include some handmade buttons. I used papers from the new Clare Curd signature range paper pack "the big one" from papermania.You can find info on these papers and her new stamps here.

I cut base paper into four squares,then used nestibilities to cut out circles and cut out flower image which i raised up with 3d pads.Cut out greeting from same pack.I made my buttons out of white card,edged in black and added silver thread.Thanks for looking.

Wallet card for Docrafter

Well as i am too late for the CCSR challenge i decided to still have a go at the paper piecing anyway and make a wallet for someone on the docrafts site.

Papers used are from the clare curd big one paper pack and the colours are fab.Stamped image is from the clare curd signature range-stamping chic-party.Paper pieced onto image and coloured rest with promarkers-blush,maroon and cocoa.Flowers,button and ribbon were from stash.thanks for looking.kayx

Nestie scalloped card

Hi all, after recieving one of these fab cards,decided i had to have a go myself as they are so cute. There is a excellent tutorial here along with other help with use the cuttlebug.Ikemo is a very talented lady and is willing to share which is fab.

Used cardstock and nesties,then coloured tilda with promarkers,cut out and added to card,ribbon from stash and added a couple of embellishments.This was a fun card to make.

Run out of time!!

well was going to make another challenge card tonight but instead ended up helping my nephew make his own blog.he was so pleased with the comments on his fight to the end card on my blog that he wanted his own one. Not sure if he will use it but have set it up and he has put some pics of his cats and two recent cards he has made.mind you just as well i am only up the road so can help when needed....lol.

Loretta challenge card

This is my card for Lorettas challenge over at the docrafts site. We have to follow a layout sketch and add the finished card to our galleries. I stamped the image (penny black transported) and cut out with nesties plain circle.Coloured image with promarkers - orange,skyblue,pastel pink and cocoa.Used retro prints paperstack from DCWV and green and orange co-ordinations card for matts.Added a peeloff i coloured for the greeting.Enjoyed making this card.Thanks for looking.x

My gorgeous dog sam

well as requested for moggilee on docrafts,here are some more pics of my dog sam.He is a 8 yr old yorkshire terrier who lives to play football with my sons,chase our cats (they are bigger than him)!! and generally be pampered. My husband brought him for me as a birthday pressie and i fell in love the first time i saw him.hope you like looking at these.x

Truly Scrumptious challenge card

Well this is my first ever blog challenge card and i have made it for my mum.Used to make the card were -
white square card,green co-ordinations card,text print paper from DCWV, pink co-ordinations card, whiff of joy image (from docrafter)coloured with rose pink, blossom,blush and apple promarkers,flower,brad,ribbon,heart embellishments and peeloff from stash.

Feeling chuffed with myself

having challenged tanmo over at docrafts to use some skeleton leaves, i then had to make a card myself!. coloured image from docrafter with promarkers,which i love.layered up on coredinations card and inserted skeleton leaves.used papermania paper for base and card from stock.added paper lace and purple ribbon over the top.stamped greeting on card and added three purple buttons.hope tanmo likes it.x

have decided this will be my first card on my blog as i loved making this one.it was my valentines card for my hubby and also anniversary as we got married on valentines day.
