Male cards - using up embellishments

Hi all, well on the clean and simple route again and these cards were inspired by one I found Here



Have had these clock embellishments for a while so trying to use up stash



Items used to make the above cards from my stash. Thanks for popping in to see me I do appreciate it. Had a busy morning doing paperwork for work and then just pottering around so now time to chill x

CAS - is this the way to go?

Hi all,well it might be the half term but the urge to craft is weak! Made myself hit the craft room and make some cards and I enjoyed it :-)
Might even go back there again lol.

Trip to Newton Abbott and goodies

Hi all,well no crafting at the moment for me as only now feeling better from this rotten chest infection but still enjoying craft shopping :-)
Today I went to Newton Abbott with my hubby and mum who is down for the weekend. Thanks to the helpful lot on Docrafts found out about a craft shop I had never been to and you can find them Here



So this is what I picked up in there and my lovely mum paid for the stamps on the right. Shop is well worth a visit :-)
We did stop at Trago Mills on the way back but I was very good and brought nothing but then I had been naughty and ordered the below items from joanna sheen which had arrived on Friday.



And the below unit is what my mum found in a charity shop for me at £10 instead of £35 so a definite bargain.



Aiming to hit the craftroom on Monday when I get it back (sadly it doubles as spare room at moment) and have the house to myself :-)

Happy birthday Chris

Well can't believe middle son is going to be 23 on Thursday and i am looking forward to him visiting for his birthday. I still remember him as a cute toddler lol
Anyway this is the card I have made for him on Sunday after my nap




Penny Black 'miniful' stamp which I stamped twice,coloured with promarkers and then cut the top layer out so it looks more 3D. Used Papermania 'portobello road' paper and card and buttons from stash. Stamped greeting but no name on stamp.

Had spotted a advert for these and looked on the website to see what names available and he got one for each of our boys. Link is Here

Thanks for all the get well messages and comments,went to doctors today and got some antibiotics for a chest infection so hopefully fighting fit soon x

Some goodies to share

Hi all,just a quick post to say hi,not up to much at mo as getting over a rather rough cough and cold which knocked me for six and had to take time off work which is always a last resort for me but feeling more with it now :-)
Anyway hubby went to the Devon County Show today but I had to pass as didn't think would last the day and he brought me back some pressies



A Gorjuss bookmark,heart and ladybird pegs so I can hang cards up and the most adorable purse,love the saying. Isn't he a lovely hubby :-)



And this was his bargain of the day. 5 packs of cheese,pack of butter and a slate cheeseboard all for £10
And finally the envelope punch board I preordered back in jan came Wednesday



And yes you are seeing two lol. Spotted on Joanna sheen site on Monday evening she had some so ordered one for my mum and both arrived together and have only had the energy to open mine today and make a couple of envelopes but am rather impressed.
So though not been feeling well I am still a lucky lady,have a great weekend all x

Thank you card

Hi all,wasn't the weather awful yesterday,think it was in sympathy with my cold and sore throat. Oh the joys of working with children lol
This card is for one of our volunteers who is going on maternity leave to say thanks for all the things she does.



Ingredients used - stamped greeting ( no name on stamp but was a 50p car boot bargain ), sizzex majestic nesting dies, dovecraft ' back to basics 2' papers, cherrylynn 'fanciful flourish' die, ribbon coloured with promarkers to match, card and gems from stash and finally memory box 'small pinwheel posie' die to make the flowers.
Now need to make a boy and girl congratulations card ready for the big event. Thanks so much for all your comments on my blog,they are much appreciated and I always return the favour x

Ingredients used - saturated canary image coloured with promarkers, First Edition ' new bloom' papers, distress ink 'milled lavender', la la land heart banner die,gems from stash,stamped sentiment and sizzex pennant die.

Hi all,well where has that time gone lately,been entertaining family visitors and busy at work so no time for crafting until last night.
Needed to make two cards to post today so used my new stamps and I love the sentiments they came with.



Ingredients - 'feeling cupidly'' by the cats pyjamas and coloured with promarkers, oval nesties, Anne Marie spotty card and flowers,ribbon,buttons and twine from my stash.
