WOYWW and its another woywwer!!

Hello everyone in blogland,its that time of the week again were we take a deep breath and reveal all and i only mean our desks......lol
I am lucky enough to be able to go to a craft meet once a month where i have made many good crafting friends and one of them is the lovely Amanda who makes the most cutest cards and she also posts on the WOYWW blog hosted by the lovely Julia so thought you might like to see this photo taken at sundays meet, i am on the left proudly wearing my woyww badge which i know Amanda is desperate to get hold of  :)

Picked up a new decent paint brush and been having a bash at the watercolouring lark using my distress inks and its hard work! I stamped my image on 3 kinds of card to see what works best. To the left is my distress ink colour chart,images,water pot,brushes,inks, whimsy monkey stamp,acrylic block for use with the inks,towel,and my new dies and magnet card waiting to be put in their storage case.

And this is the best of a bad bunch!! Used langton hotpressed watercolour paper for this one and it worked best,got a long way to go but enjoyed playing around. Off to link up to Julias's before work and watch out for a visit from me,assuming life is a better calmer,x

Birthday card for Lisa

Well crafting is taking a bit of a back seat at the moment as work is hectic with all the end of term stuff to arrange and the new children coming in and also a new curriculum that the government has decided to introuduce from September!!  so when i get a spare chance its nice to sit and relax and make something.

Made this for Lisa whose birthday it was yesterday so safe to post it here now. Used 'Fairy tale' stamp by Krista Smith, Dovecraft princess fairy tale paper.Coloured image with promarkers,core card from stash,circle and scallop circle nesties,and my latest love which are memory box dies - prim poppy,added some glamour dust and a stamped greeting and finally some butterflies using the stampin up embosslit 'beautiful wings'.

Had a fab time  at the Bristol meet on sunday and lovely to catch up with everyone though i spent more time chatting than crafting......lol

Well i was a lucky girl and had two more memory box dies arrive today so now i have done the chores for today off for a play,x

WOYWW and some colouring

Hi all,just a quick post to show you my fairly bare desk as not much going on at the moment apart from practising my colouring last night before bed. You can see the finished card here.

You can see colour charts, flexmarkers in the pot(promarkers hiding to the right),stamped image,fine tips for my promarkers and the image stamp.You can also see my atcs in front of my distress inks that i received to celebrate the woyww 3rd anniversary,need to find a special home for them. I was also watching last night the last episode of Greys Anatomy on my lappy. In the red box are glues,broken dolls house table(yep still not fixed it) and tapes and to the right stampin up punches and the wooden box contains charms.

I also received this fabulous atc from Sandra all the way from Australia

And the reason for showing my desk is all down to Julia over at Stamping Ground who every wednesday opens her blog to the world to allow us to have a nosey peep at a mix of desks. Right i am off to get ready for work,catch you all later,x

Well its one of my docraft and blogging buddies Julie birthday today and this is the card i made her which i hope she likes and that it arrived in time.

Used one of my new stamps by Krista Smith ' Bedtime snuggles' which i coloured with promarkers,used label nestie,scalloped heart nesties,marianne flourish die,dovecraft doilie,kort & godt pearls,heart brad and paper from stash.Not been one of my better weekends so just as well back to work tomorrow,x

WOYWW and my mini album completed

Hi all and its time again to reveal our desk,crafting area or floor to the nation. Julia our lovely hostess over at Stamping Ground asks that we come and play and have the chance to visit each other and find out what we are all up to this week. So this is my desk for you all to peek at :)

You can see the makings of my album complete with matted and labelled photos and programme from bus show,had made the album when i had a crafting session (pics here) and just needed to finish the cover and add the photos which after 4 yrs was time to print out....lol. You can also see  the gorgeous atc's that i received from Twiglet, BJ and Julia. My green bin,dst and scissors(use this pair just for dst), iphone for emergency back up if internet goes again! red box containing my new stamps and to the right some old bus magazines which i have been cutting up.

Me and my hubby visited a bus show 4 years ago with our youngest son Peter,had a great time having rides on the buses,taking photos and chatting with the drivers so thought it was time to do the album and give to hubby on Fathers Day. Used card from stash, Tim Holtz 'retro grunge' papers, martha stewart punches, jigsaw pieces,old bus magazines, papermania portobello road vintage stamp set,black soot distress ink and peel off letters.
Right thats me done now,managed to visit and leave comments on all but 5 blogs last week (unable to comment or kicked me off!) but not sure will make it this week as back at work but i will do my best and i always visit peeps who have left me a comment.

Card using some of my new goodies

Well couldnt resist last night,had to play with my new stash and plus i needed to make this card for my sister and post it today with her present :)

So this was one of my new bargain price stamps 'Luv a latte' by Krista smith and i coloured her with promarkers,used First edition 'Isabelle' papers,labels and heart nesties,new party lanterns memory box die, kort & godt pearls and greetings stamp.

Right off to do some blogging before i fall asleep.....lol.x

My Craft Show Stash

Well am back from the craft show at Taunton and isnt it funny how quick you spend money.........lol
Anyway even though there werent as many sellers as normal i had a great time. Went with Kelly, Sandra and Sophie and met some of the docrafter gang also at the show. Enough of me rambling on i know you want to see what i spent my pennies on.....lol

It consisted of 12 x12 kraft card,paperpack,party lanterns die,quickie glue pen,charms,and stamps,of which all but one were reduced :)

And we then stopped on the way back at dunelm mill so i could pick up this paperpack

So i am off now to play in the craft room with my new goodies,x

Welcome to a new blogger and some cards

Hello everyone,well i am getting excited as off to the Taunton Craft Show tomorrow with some buddies and cant wait,bet i dont sleep tonight as too excited....lol
Anyway been nagging my good friend Angie to get a blog to show off her inky creativeness and she finally caved in and i can say proudly she is now a blogger :)

Anyway today i have had a bit of a card making session as realised oops lots of birthdays coming up and my card box was empty! so here are todays cards.

Celebration ATC's and my mojo is back :)

Hi all,well its wet and windy here and thats not my tummy.....lol. As i missed the special anniversary
WOYWW the other week due to my internet being down some lovely peeps this week have offered to trade with me so they are now all parcelled up and ready to go (two have been posted now) awaiting addresses. So these are my atc's.

I went mad first with the cosmic shimmers mists in my stash and then used the Creative Expressions cog mask and the lush distress ink peacock feathers to add another layer. Used the music stamp from Papermania urban stamps set Bird Print and then punched out some bunting using paper from stash and Stampin Up bunting punch. Added some bling from my stash and the lets celebrate is from another Papermania set called Portabello road - postage stamps and finally a computer on Julia's atc.

Hopefully my swop partners will not be peeking before they get them,now i need to go and make some cards before my mojo disappears,x

WOYWW and some tables

Hi all,can i first say how gutted i was to miss last weeks anniversary woyww but my internet decided to go down on monday and not come back til late thursday by the time then my mojo went into hiding!
I know you are here blog hopping from the lovely Julias world wide blog hop where we all get a chance for a nosey peek into everyones craftrooms and particulary desks.
So as i only managed some crafting on sunday when my buddies came round,this is a picture of the tables and yes there are 3 there ready for action in my front room

All set to make a pocket album so instructions printed off,my mat and tools ready,green pop up bin(most used craft item),trimmer,martha stewart board and in the red box glues and tapes and if you peer closely as i know some will....lol, there are nibbles in the clear bowls.

And this is a action shot and amazing how quickly we fill up the tables with all our craft goodies :)
My album is nearly done so aim to finish decorating the cover today after i have popped into work but going to enjoy visiting your blogs first.So remember if you wish to join in the desk hop just pop over to Julia's at Stamping Ground and away you go,x

Hello its me :)

Hi all,just a quick update,not having a very good crafty time at moment but hope to change it tomorrow with a crafting day at my house for some of my lovely buddies :)
First son took over my craft room whilst he decorated and then my mum came for a visit (which was lovely) but no crafting and just as i get some time to craft and wanted to print off some digis my internet crashed on monday and didnt come back up til late thursday so the old mojo has disappeared.
So apologies for not visiting your blogs and for missing woyww (gutted on that one!) but i am on hols for a week now so will be catching up with you all.
