Inspiration card

Hi all
Well I am loving the online copic class, just wish I had more time! But the good thing about these classes are that you can do them at anytime :-)
Well after seeing this fabulous card using the practise sheets I had to have a go myself.
Used my new brushos to make the background and raised up the parcel and balloons with 3d foam. Sentiment is from Clearly Besotted.

Tomorrow I need to make a penguin!!!

Westpoint Craft show and makes

Hi all.
Well I had the day off yesterday so I could go to Westpoint craft show with my good friend Sandra. We had a fabulous time, met some friends and spent some pennies also :-)
Our highlights of our day out were attending two free workshops
The first one was a mixed media class where we got very messy ( they gave us gloves ) but had fun and made a canvas using a mix of media

And in the afternoon we added a bead jewellery workshop where we learnt how to make a bracelet

We also went to see Joan who is a tutor and you can see her work here and when I asked her for a penquin look what she made for me whilst I went around the show, isn't it cute :-)

And these are my new goodies which i can't wait to play with :-)

Copic class practice sheets

Hi all
Well I recently signed up for a copic online class which you can find out about here and it went live yesterday :-)
So this is my practise sheets from last nights session and though I have only watched two of the videos so far can say I am having a blast and just wish there were more hours in the day!

Been making myself notes on the sheets and also on the PDF files that come with the course. I would highly recommend this course especially for a beginner like me who has only had her copics for a couple of weeks!
Hopefully can fill in the rest of the balloons after work but really need a magic wand to avoid going into work lol

My first Copic card

Hi all, well this week is certainly going by fast! Not much time for crafting but enjoying colouring images in my spare time. This is my fourth image using my new copics and the one I am most proud of :-)
Inspiration for the image I got from this fab blog
Card will be for one of the new staff at work so hope she likes it. Spent more time faffing than making it lol Excuse the wonkiness,it looked straight when I took it so obviously a sign its bedtime!

Not overly pleased with the card layout but first one on in a couple of weeks!
Looking forward to starting a online copic class for card makers which starts on Monday. Details can be found here

Used my new MFT stamp 'sweet birthday wishes'
Avery Elle papers ' the bright collection' and MFT 'blueprints 13'.

Enjoy the rest of the week and thanks for visiting me x

Copic storage

Hi all,
Thought you might like to see how I store my Copic collection which my beloved hubby brought me as a thanks for decorating the house in my holiday and also for Christmas and birthdays for the foreseeable future lol
It's a cd case, also use one for my promarkers.

I have put them in the order of the Copic colouring chart and added labels which you can find Here
I stuck mine on double sided tape and used the SU owl punch to cut out as one of the circles for the eyes was the perfect size x

Time to come back :-)

Hi all,

So here are some of my recent cards

Retirement card but different to the norm!

Hi all, well I need to make a retirement card but didn't want to go down the normal route as she is retiring early not through choice but a need to look after her family so this is what I came up with

Can you tell I went a bit mad with the sparkle lol
Enjoyed making this and using my sparkle medium and have learnt to spray the spray and sparkle outside as my craft area needed a scrub after all the extra sparkle! Looked like a fairy had visited :-)
Anyway hope you all are having a good weekend and enjoying the weather.

Ingredients for card - Indigoblue freebie stamp and used with archival ink.
Card for base, layer and leaves from Annamarie designs
Spray and sparkle ( in a abundance! )
Stencil "mini art is" and used with Cinnamon sparkle medium which I love
Ribbon from my secret Santa
Flowers from florist and sparkle medium added
Pearls from stash and a Woodware punch for leaves x
