Well this week has zoomed by,just a few more days and its my time off for the easter holidays and i am looking forward to some serious craft time instead of the few minutes here and there, also pleased to report that my cold has finally gone, hurray :) Anyway i am showing you my desk today as i have become a fan of the trend setter Julia from Stamping Ground who encourages everyone to reveal whats on their desks on a Wednesday no matter how tidy or messy they are! ( i am definately a tidy crafter......lol)
This is my desk at the moment or i should say as off late last night and you can see my altered book with its niche, been following the fab tutorials over at Elizabeths blog Altered book lover and really enjoying learning something new. My theme is my blog, nickname and its history. On my desk you can see various glues, acrylic paint (touch up a area on book) ink pads and my spider stamps and at the back my beaded spider coaster which a lovely friend Teresa got me from America.
This is my book before i covered the niche all clamped and waiting for the gel medium to dry propped up by my favourite drink. Anyway off to link up and have a nosey at some blogs before work. Thanks for popping in and i will return the favour,x

Wine and chocolate holder, card and a bit of progress on Altered book
Hi all, hope you are enjoying this lovely sunshine and have adjusted to the clocks going forward. Always takes me a couple of days before my body adjusts. Anyway here is a present i have made for a special friend. Used the tutorial over at Whiff of Joy to make this and added some yummy chocolate( must not eat it!) and a bottle of wine.Card stock is stampin up, papermania paper, flowers from stash and lots of gems.
And here is the card to go with it.
Tilda coloured with promarkers, used nesties labels 8, distress ink (seedless preserve) around the edge of image and papers, first edition papers (love letters),swirls embossing folder, added buttons to flowers from stash and added lots of pearls (kort & godt) and a greeting. Also making progress on my altered book, niche area all glued together and dry now and going to cut it out tonight, bit nervous at that bit but like a challenge :)

WOYWW and its rather bare
Well i have come to the conclusion that i can not be messy or spread out in my crafting no matter how hard i try so shall accept i am a tidy crafter and just enjoy looking at other crafters desks and imagine how i am going to organise them......lol
Am showing my desk again to join in with the gang over at stamping ground led by the team lead Julia and as you can see no crafting on it :(
Received this gorgeous card and images from a buddy yesterday to cheer me up as still not feeling great with my cold (reckon its here for the duration!) and you can see a diecut from my newest die just waiting to go on a card and a envelope underneath it made using my mothers day pressie which was a martha stewart score board but thats it.Looking forward to the easter holidays so i can recharge my batteries from work and craft though i did manage to make a card on sunday ( see earlier post)
Someone asked me what was in the bags on hooks above my desks so this is a close up,i keep all my foam pads for my distress inks in a labeled bag so they are close to hand, yes i am that organised........lol
Have ordered my multi medium now so i can do the next stage of my altered book as got so far and had to stop. Hopefully will be here for the weekend and if you are looking closely thats the wrong date on the camera, still using a borrowed one.
Anyway thanks for visiting my blog, off to have a nosey at some before i go to work and i will be catching up with the others after work, have a good day,x

Happy Mothers Day and a card made with new goodies
Hope you are all having a fab Mothers Day and being spoilt. I have been out for a lovely meal with my hubby and family and now back playing with my new goodies that my sons and hubby brought me.
I got a martha stewart embossing board (good for all those american tutorials),boofle 12 x 12 papers, portabello road stamps, boofle patchwork folder and some cute twine.I have been very spoilt :)
And this is the card i made using my new goodies, just needed to add some docraft heart gems from my stash and cut the greeting (raised with 3d foam) out with a oval nestie.Used tattered rose distress ink over the embossing and cut out with my labels 8 nesties. Kraft card blank and stamped greeting inside.
Off for a nosey around blog land now, catch you all soon,x

WOYWW and a birthday card
Not been a great week for me with the evil cold thats doing the rounds and no crafting up til last night when i remembered i needed to make a birthday card to go out today....oops
So here is my desk this morning which i had to abandon when i had finished my card last night so i could watch CSI which i then fell asleep to and once i am fully awake this morning will be tidying asap! oh the shame of my messy desk.....lol
Anyway hope you are not all zooming in as you will even see my nearly finished choc bar (for emergency use obviously) but you can also see my new WOYWW badge that the lovely Julia (who organises this addictive form of showing off over at stamping ground) sent me in the post. Was all excited to wear it on sunday at my craft meet at Bristol until i ended up in bed sneezing away :(
The pad on the left peeping out from a lush basic grey paper pack is where i record what items i have used to make my card or project to add to blog/gallery. Stamps on the right were friendship sentiments but not the right ones so dug out my PB best wishes instead.
Box is something i made a while ago but got out to add a present too and the piece of paper shows the sketch for my card.
This is the finished card which i am entering also in a challenge over at Docrafts and has made me realise i need to practise more with this camera as it looks not so washed out in real life! Anyway if you want to join in or just have a nosey at some amazing desks and craft areas just pop over here and you be warned you will be a while,x

WOYWW and new ribbon storage
Well i have dithered wether to add to todays WOYWW which is where everyone adds their craft desks for peeps to have a nosey at as mine is not very exciting at the moment and i am still trying to get my lappy fixed (am on a borrowed one) and have had to borrow a camera too!
But got itchy fingers at the thought of not joining in so here it is
You can see my first ever go at making a altered book following a fab tutorial here, got as far as taking the pages out but me thinks i have taken out too many....lol need to attack it with gesso later (can't wait) and had to use a ribbon as couldnt find a elastic band, printed instructions just peeping out,a broken table that i need to fix for work for the dolls house and some goodies sent from a friend as i cut out some ribbon holders for her. Luckily managed before lappy crashed on me but i am missing it as my images, projects and scal are all on there, fingers crossed it can be fixed.
And as my desk is not doing much thought you would like to see my new ribbon storage for my reels of ribbon which my lovely hubby got for me,isnt it cute. Have to also say thanks sharon re the use of your camera and i love that it adds the date :)
Going to get ready for work now and then i will be catching up with your blogs later, thanks for visiting and dont forget to go and see Julia over at Stamping ground to have a nosey at some fab desks.x

Mothers day card and a tale of woe!
Hi all, well i am here just,my beloved lappy of only 2 yrs old has decided to crash on me and yes i admit i have cried,so much stuff on there, just hope it can be either repaired or at least save my stuff as i kept putting off backing it up. So moral is do back up regularly. My camera also gave up the ghost the other night so fingers crossed the 3rd thing to go wrong is cheaper!
Anyway am on a borrowed laptop and using a borrowed camera ( not allowed to download or sign up for anything or else, well according to son....lol )
But i did manage to make 3 cards and this is one of them
Sorry about the picture but you can tell i am not used to this cameras settings, anyway made this card for my mum for mother's day. Used a freebie LOTV image from mag which i coloured with my promarkers, freebie paper, nestie used was labels 8 and i inked the image whilst still in nestie with spun sugar distress ink, added doilies, flowers and pearls.
Off to do some blogging before i have to give the laptop back, have a great weekend all,x
