Well i have come to the conclusion that i can not be messy or spread out in my crafting no matter how hard i try so shall accept i am a tidy crafter and just enjoy looking at other crafters desks and imagine how i am going to organise them......lol
Am showing my desk again to join in with the gang over at stamping ground led by the team lead Julia and as you can see no crafting on it :(
Received this gorgeous card and images from a buddy yesterday to cheer me up as still not feeling great with my cold (reckon its here for the duration!) and you can see a diecut from my newest die just waiting to go on a card and a envelope underneath it made using my mothers day pressie which was a martha stewart score board but thats it.Looking forward to the easter holidays so i can recharge my batteries from work and craft though i did manage to make a card on sunday ( see earlier post)
Someone asked me what was in the bags on hooks above my desks so this is a close up,i keep all my foam pads for my distress inks in a labeled bag so they are close to hand, yes i am that organised........lol
Have ordered my multi medium now so i can do the next stage of my altered book as got so far and had to stop. Hopefully will be here for the weekend and if you are looking closely thats the wrong date on the camera, still using a borrowed one.
Anyway thanks for visiting my blog, off to have a nosey at some before i go to work and i will be catching up with the others after work, have a good day,x

I would love to go back to that year!! Great visiting your craft room and catching up have a great day and happy crafting. Ginny x
ReplyDeleteYou are definitely an organised crafter but you don't mention how loud that makes you lol. Hugs, Amanda X
ReplyDeleteOh that is organised. You must shudder when you see my pot of foam at the back of my desk. Oops! I love your new die..can I get the details off you please..i may well NEEEEEED one.!
ReplyDeleteWhat I love about WOYWW is knowing that I am not the only totally messy crafter around, so seeing a neat and tidy area unnerves me a bit. If you are at a loose end Kay, and want to tidy, you are welcome to visit! Hugs Sxx
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness you are organised aren't you? Thinking of the bags with the foam in them.
ReplyDeleteI love a neat desk myself but often it gets to the "not neat" stage and then I have a massive clean up. Going to do that right now!
Hugs, Neet #4 xx
thanks for including your number it does help.
you would have a field day on my desk......... if you could find it lol..... bet most of the stuff would end up in the bin, hope you soon feel better
ReplyDeleteTilly
Great to see how other people organise their supplies, I shared my own foam storage system on this weeks WOYWW too! Fab craft space x

Lovely Memory Box die you got, they have so much new stuff out and it's all beautiful! Love the embossing folder you got for Mother's Day too, it's fantastic, where did it come from please? Sorry to hear you can't shake your cold, really hope it leaves you alone soon.

Great memory box die! Beautiful organized desk going on!! I do hope you feel better soon... Hugs May x x No9
ReplyDeleteHi there. My desk actually looks neat this week too. Usually I'll drag something out to the table, then think I need this and that and next thing I know I have piles!! We all have different ways of creating and our worksurfaces show it!
ReplyDeleteThe card is so cute.
Happy WOYWW
Hugs,
Kay
#15 (you've already visited - thank you!)
I really like that Memory Box die too, very useful. How can you be so tidy and organised!!! I need lessons from you......Anne #66
ReplyDeleteI'm all for tidying, I just can't seem to maintain it. It makes it easier when things are where they belong and you can go right to them. I suffer lack of space which is part of it. Hope you feel better soon! Happy WOYWW Judy #134.
ReplyDeleteAm loving the new die can't wait to borrow it lol Glad the goodies arrive ok. Hope you get back to your normal naughty self soon. Let me get near that desk i'll soon untidy it for you. xx
ReplyDeleteI'm a tidy crafter too, I make mess but clear up straight away! Thanks for sharing for this WOYWW, I'm nosing my way through the list! Take care Zo xx 22
ReplyDeleteWednesday’s sure do come around quick! Trying again to make “All” the rounds. I store mine the same way it works great..well except when I'm in a hurry and dont' put them away. LOL Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteDo you perchance organize other desks? Oh my.. I know mine could use some help! I hope you get to feeling better soon! Warmly, Tracy #34 (and happy WOYWW!)
ReplyDeleteOne thing I love about WOYWW is that everyone on here is so different - in what they create, and how they organise their creative spaces, and how tidy (or not!) they are! I go through times of being mega-organised, but these days it's mostly chaotic... One day, I promise myself, probably after we move in a couple of years' time, I shall be completely organised - I'd like to organise an ARTHaven from scratch instead of growing one piecemeal as I've done here. Now I know what I want, it should be easier!
ReplyDeleteI'm very interested in your altered book. Not sure what multi-medium is - it looks a bit like gesso? Is this a preparation layer for painting, or is it like a glue for adding more paper/card? I love foam brushes for this sort of thing.
You are a Very Tidy Worker. Well done!
Happy WOYWW,
Shoshi #14
I think there are either super tidy or super messy crafters and nothing in between. You are definitely super tidy. How I wish I was!!!
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you are still struggling with your cold. Hopefully it'll be on it's way out now.
Take care and Happy WOYWW
Hugs Lisax #123
yep, you are definately organised. I love to get messy, but then OCD me likes to be organised too. I am def going to make that bag thing for my foams (i have even book marked it! OCD )

Popping in to thank you for stopping by and leaving me a comment. It is nice to see a fellow "neatnik," although I love looking at them all, whether organized or not. I've avoided any colds while the rest of the family has been dealing with more than one - until this week, ugh. It's not bad, but I hope it goes away soon and that yours does as well! #141
ReplyDeleteWow your craft desk is awesome, sooo wush mine was that organised. Perhaps you could come and sort mine out :-D perhaps you should go into business, organising other peoples craft desks, you'd make a fortune. Love the ink pad organiser, def be having a go at doing that.
ReplyDeleteSandra B
Hi Kay, me again, and thanks for replying to my query so quickly. It's Claudine Helmuth's own fancy name for something I know about - acrylic gel medium! I've got them in lots of different thicknesses and finishes, and am familiar with them as glues for collage etc. as well as other purposes. I think I was confused because it was going on white (which of course it does till it dries) - thought it was gesso at first. Thanks anyway!

You must have had an anxiety attach when you visited my desk today!! I would love to be tidy. I really like your idea for the foam pads, I only have three applicators and it drives me crazy cos I have loads of different ink pads. I have been thinking about taping a long strip of velcro to the wall and putting them on there.. I love your idea but I am such a messy person the bags would all be empty in one day!! Cindy #17
ReplyDeleteI love a tidy desk! And working in a tidy space too, nothing wrong with that! Although saying that I have a messy desk this week! Great idea to store the cut & dry, brill I might nick that one!

Heh heh. I like neat, too. I say there's nothing wrong with it and we should embrace our quirks. And, we can find things.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting me! I'll use the nobs as shadow box handles and bases. Unless something better comes along.
Cheers,
Susan
Being neat is good. I go through phases of being neat and messy. Thanks for the peek! Linda #121
ReplyDeleteThanks for the embossing folder info Kay, I'm going to ask my brother to order it for me from a shop near him in Yeovil!!
ReplyDeleteHugs
Brenda
Aw! That is such a pretty card and would cheer anyone up!
ReplyDeleteI have a theory - Creativity = Messey!! You can't be creative and tidy at the same time.
Hugs
xx
Thanks for stopping by, you are one organized gal!!! I peeped about a bit and love your mothers day post. We celebrate that in May. Happy WOYWW and have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteGlad I'm not the only one who likes to be tidy and organised - lol.
ReplyDeleteYou admired my cork board and asked if I enjoyed all the wine .... lol, I have to stop after only a couple of glasses these days!
Hope you feel better very soon xx

Do you give lessons on how to be a tidy crafter? If so I need them. Thank you for your visit and yes it is so special to have that stamp made just for us. Have a good week. xx Maggie #5
ReplyDeleteHmmm...sounds like I could use you to organize my room for me! Yours looks wonderful!
ReplyDeleteWow, I'd love to have you over to organize me! Sometimes I just have piles everywhere. Good luck with the next step of the AB. Thanks for stopping by my blog.
ReplyDeleteI used to be a neat tidy crafter, I don't know what happened!! And anyway there is nothing wrong with being organised.
ReplyDeleteHappy Woyww

Ohhhhhh, so clean! Love the organization of the Tim pads. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteThats a really good idea with your foam pads, I'm going to get mine organised. Thanks for dropping by. Amy #140
ReplyDeleteGreat cards...oldies but goodies!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the kind words about my husband. He is resting and watching the game and sent me off to play on my computer...heopfully he doesn't have another heart attack from the game excitement!
You are so clean and organised it's scary. If you look at mine you will have a heart attack. Then again you did say that you would look and see how to organise the desks, so any ideas greatly accepted. :)
ReplyDeleteVon
Oh! Your card is so lovely! And which die is that, your newest one? And how do you store your dies? Lots of questions, lol!
ReplyDeleteThat is a great idea for storing the foam pads! Mine are all jumbled into a mug which I have to dump out to find the right one and then wonder "is this the right blue one?"
Thanks for the peek and visiting me earlier!
xoxo Karen
Me again :)
ReplyDeleteI just noticed you had the word "die" as a link, so I now know which die it is! Thanks for the link!
xoxo Karen
Oh can you come and sort me out pleeeeease?
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting, hope your cold leaves soon:)
xx
I had hoped I was a tidy crafter but you beat me hands down! Mess drives me potty and often I have to just stop what I am doing and tidy up and then start over again. Sorry I haven't returned your visit to my blog before now ... latest project is taking FAR longer than anticipated and time just ran away with me. Love Debbie xXx
ReplyDeleteHurrah ! At last I have found another crafter like me who likes to be organised. I have to clear away one project before I can start on another and tend to clear up as I go along. Thought I was abnormal.
ReplyDeleteThanks for popping into my studio Kay.#
Lynn from One I Made Earlier Today
Whatever works for you, I bet you never wast any time while you look for something!!! Oh that would be Grand!!
ReplyDeleteTell us more about that die....??
Hope your feeling better soon.!
Hope your feeling better soon. I was thinking of using the bags on a ring type storage for my ribbons, I haven't got enough TH foam pads to need to 'store' them.... yet... :o) I got a MS scoring board about a year ago and don't know how I managed without it, it's soo handy. x
ReplyDeleteNEVER apologise for a tidy desk....good for you. Glad that card cheered you up too! Great storage idea too! Thanks for sharing your desk and a bit of your life! Sarah (a late WOYWWer at no.1)
ReplyDeleteI love to see organization, and dream of how long it would take me to ...well its prime time, so I won't say. Lovely area to create in, thanks for sharing
ReplyDeletePhewph... apologies for visiting so late but I'm new to WOYWW and its quite a task to get to visit everyone before Wednesday comes round again!
ReplyDeleteThanks for letting me take a peek ~ I enjoyed visiting :D
