WOYWW and a lot of butterflies!

Hi all,well you will be pleased to see that i have my craft room back re last weeks post. He finished decorating and put his room back late thursday night just in time for my mum to visit for a long weekend! so i have been getting severe crafting withdrawals but have rectified that now. So i am guessing you have come here via Julia's blog or should i say her world tour of desks so here is mine.

So on my desk today you can see the start of a birthday card for a docraft buddy using my new memory box poppy die and stampinup bird punch and butterfly embosslit. Distress ink chart as was matching up colour to go with card stock, circle punch,scrap card,tweezer scissors,pokey tool,laptop(watching greys anatomy) stampin up tag punch (new),box of gems in front of inkpads and my normal desk stuff.

My lovely mum also brought down for me my new storage trolley for 12 x 12 papers and card that was on offer at costco as dont have one up here.

And lastly this is the finished card,think i went a bit overboard with the butterflies as couldnt decide which ones i wanted to use..........lol

WOYWW and its nothing much!

Well i um'd and ar'd wether to join in today over at the Stamping Ground where Julia hosts this amazing desk blog hop and as you can tell from my desk shot its all clear! only thing on there is my new charity shop bargain,the plate holder which i have used to lift up my distress inks and have some storage space underneath. You might just see in the rub boxes some card candy & stampboard,woooden box to hold my charms and a red tray to hold dst,glamour dust,glossy accents and a broken dolls house table waiting to be fixed (have already fixed it once!) and my fab ottlite

And the reason for the lack of crafting and my mojo is this

and why you might ask? Well my youngest son decided that he wanted to decorate his room on sunday and hes still doing it now! so my beloved craft room has become a dumping ground and being a very tidy and organised person (ok i am rather ocd) just cant relax and craft in there. Only thing i have done since sunday is finish this and it was a case of run in and run out again......lol

Anyway knew i would miss joining in so hope you can excuse the lack of crafting and i hope to be hopping your way soon,x

Magnetic post it holder from Bristol meet

Hi all,hope you are all well in blogland,had a fab time at the Bristol craft meet on sunday,lots of laughter, good company and shock,horror even some crafting......lol
Well i hadnt managed to finish mine there,think it was too much talking :) and only just finished it now amid lots of noise,music and chaos as youngest son painting his room so my crafting is on hold!

Ingredients used

Card for base and layering from stash

papermania boofle papers

gathered twigs distress ink

martha stewart around the page punches

cross stitch tilda coloured with promarkers & paper pieced

martha stewart lace flowers

kort & godt pearls

stampin up background stamp

eyelets and pencil from stash

magnetic sheet on back

The instructions for this were from a tilda magnolia magazine,sorry dont know which one but was easy to make. Off to do some blogging and then the joyous washing up!

Altered jigsaw and new goodies

Hi all,can finally post this now as the birthday girl has gone to bed and will be opening it in the morning......lol

Well this was fun to make and it started out as a picture of a pig!

Used the papermani portabello road papers and multi medium to adhere to the puzzle pieces and cut around with a craft knife and then filed off any edges and inked up around and glued into base

Then i used the papermania urban stamps to decorate and embellishments from my stash

I also added fixings and used a pearl string so it can be hung up but forgot to take a photo.....doh. Must admit was tempted to keep this but know its going to a good home :)
And finally some pics of goodies i acquired today when we went to plymouth to see middle son,raided the craft shop,market and charity shops.

WOYWW and a summery card to make up for the rain!!

Hello everyone and funny enough its wednesday again,could have sworn we have had a wednesday last week.....lol. Anyway you have not come to hear me ramble but to nose peep at my desk which compared to some i see on my blog travels is quite tame if i am honest  but i love seeing everyone elses desks :)

Its a bit like I Spy this desk watching,took these photos last night during my card making session and you can see my beloved promarkers (got the new summer colours and they are lush),my coloured image,embellishments,my fave ek success butterfly punch and a ms punch,my tool caddy,saturated canary coloured image,cherry lynn fanciful flourish die cut coloured with promarker,and in the pink boxes on the left are stamped images ready for colouring and on the floor you can just see my hougie and martha stewart boards and some grunge paper.
And this is the finished card,didnt like the edging with the ms punch so chopped it off.......lol

Hi all,hope you are all up to something crafty today,i have done my stuff for work and those dreaded housework chores and now its play time. Made this for my cousins birthday at the weekend,we were going to all meet up at Longleat but due to the bad weather forecast has been postponed til next month so shall have to get this in the post asap.

Am loving the ribbon which was a bargain from Aldis,got another colour way too but should have picked up more! Rather saucy image but she will love it. May Swop Tags and some cat food lids!

Yes you read it right,cat food lids with the odd dog ones thrown into the mix.....lol. I follow a blog where once a week where you can nosey around peeps desk,pick up some tutorials,drool over their stash and also pick up some fab tips and one of them was to use the foil lids for embossing backgrounds.But i thought i would have a go cutting them out to make metal looking cogs and this is the result.

How naughty of me to have not posted anything between now and last woyww...tut,tut....................lol
I have a sick note so does that count!  Anyway bugs are on the way out and my crafting mojo is alive and kicking :) So you have come here via your reading list or most likely from Julia's blog 'Stamping ground' and you want a nosey at my desk so here it is

Well whats on there today,ahmm lets see,theres the start of my two tags for the tag swop over at Docrafts, along with the stash i am using and if you look closely i have my new yummy distress inks,just waiting to be used.In the pot to the right are baby wipes (ease of travel to meets),versamark pen and on top of my tim holtz dies is the last cat food lid that i have been using to make the cogs on the tags. Saw that tip on my rounds around woyww last week and need to try the embossing with them next.

 Went to the Yeovil craft meet on sunday and though i didnt finish anything apart from colouring a image(totally pooped to be honest) i had a fab time and managed to purchase some new craft goodies as we were above the craft shop :) so this is my new stash along with my new inks from oysterstamps
