Dont panic you havent come to the wrong blog by mistake, yes theres rather a lot on my desk thats not normally there! I went crafting on sunday and have to confess only felt like unpacking my bags last night so this is the contents of two bags dumped on the desk ready to put away. And the reason you are seeing this photo can be found over at Stamping Ground led by Julia for the weekly woyww blog hop.
How is it though going to a craft meet means trying to squeeze your entire craft room into a bag as you never really know what you are wanting to use or run out of.......lol
The xmas box is full of xmas embellishments, clear box has tools in,card, dst, inkpads, glitter,my bin folded down, nesties, christmas papers hiding underneath the nesties, glamour dust, acrylic blocks, rolled up kraft mat, corner punch, nesties, trimmer, box of stamps, mini xmas card, h20s lurking somewhere and some stuff for my first DT position including a sneak peek of my DT card and on top is some fabby spider web washi tape from my buddy Kelly
So if you want to see more desks displaying their crafting, pileups, crafty makes, craft goodies etc click on the link at the top of the post and if you leave a comment i shall be tracking you down :)
And for my regular visitors dont worry i cleaned it all away back into its normal containers and calm was restored once more so i could make a card x

Don't know how anyone manages to go to a craft meet, worse than packing your bags at the supermarket if you ask me. I'd have no idea what to pack even. Thanks for stopping by BJ#30
ReplyDeleteWow Kay, I bet looking at that lot made you sweat lol.... double that and you have my desk most of the time! well done on the DT spot
ReplyDeleteTilly
I have tried to plan what to take beforehand and also tried the bung everything in and hope for the best when going to a crop but I still seem to get nothing done but sit and chat all day so I have gone past it now and if I do get anything done its a bonus! Have fun making your DT card. Thanks for sharing - Sunshine Girl no. 57
ReplyDeleteI have never been to a craft meet. Don't know how in the world you would know what to take with you...I'd wind up wanting to take it ALL and how on earth would I get it there!
ReplyDeleteGlenda 89
oh my Kay!! how you crammed that into just 2 bags is beyond me!!
ReplyDeleteI've have to take a suitcase!! LOL
hope you had fun x
I know what you mean- I have enough trouble just packing to go away anywhere- takes at least 4 pack/unpack/repacks before we go, then when we get there I find I've got stuff I don't wear, and not got stuff I really want to wear now, lol!Have a great Wednesday, Hugs Shaz #96
ReplyDeleteBIG congratulations on your new DT place Kay, I'm really pleased for you.Ginny ♥

Congrats on the design team position. Well done!
ReplyDeleteI think your desk looks fine as is and probably a zillion times better by now.
I don't unpack tilol the day after a crop either as it is so much to put away and I am usually too tired at midnite or whatever time we get home to even think about it.
14 or 15 hour crops are very popular here...People don't like to haul all their stuff out for less than 12 hours.
For that length of time, you get a 6 foot table all to yourself and your stash (teehee). That is a lot of stuff to put away! lol
I have started limiting myself to two Archiver's tote bags when I go to crops. If I can't fit it, it doesn't come. And that works for me most times. But not always :)

ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week and thanks for coming by to visit me already! Darnell #35
I know that going to a craft retreat trying to take the whole craft room. Then coming back and trying to put it all back. But still it's the fun of it all.lol
ReplyDeleteOh I hate the unpacking part too. Glad you eventually got around to restoring order. And thanks for popping by my studio today. S
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing that you managed to get all of that into such a small space to take it. I would never have unpacked it for weeks but I am a grot.
ReplyDeleteHave fun with the card and have a great week.

Ooh Kay! Messy! Glad you recorded it for posterity! I don't do crafting outside my house for those same reasons you state, I wouldn't know what to take and whatever got left would be what I needed!!

Hello!
ReplyDeleteWe don't want to be without something we need! For a messy desk this is pretty orderly and neat! Wishing you a sunshine day!
Hugs,
Barbara Diane
Yeah on the DT position! I love the mess. Makes me feel not so bad about my own! lol No, its not really that bad at all. At least you've been productive, huh? Thanks for stopping by and leaving me a comment, hope you have a fab woyww! :)
ReplyDeleteDeeyll #83
There is a sure fire way to ensure you don't take your entire craft room with you: don't drive! I go everywhere by public transport and it really makes sure you only take half your craft room!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for stopping by.
cheers, rachel #64
Lots of stuff for us to snoop around! x Jo
ReplyDeleteI like your Halloween blog theme -- very cool and spooky. :) Thank goodness you reassured everyone that you got everything put away -- ha, ha. You don't want us all to feel faint, right? Congratulations on your DT position. Happy WOYWW from Laura #153
ReplyDeleteIt's so true about the packing! I'll plan things to work on before I go....but the vibe is so different when you're there, chatting and being inspired by everything around you! I rarely end up doing what I planned...haha!
ReplyDeleteYou have so many great supplies, though!
Congrats on the DT spot... look forward to more on that! The spider web washi looks very cool (love your blog sidebars at the moment too!)... Belated happy WOYWW!
