And now I have my trusty antibiotics for this stupid chest infection hope to unwind and get fighting fit soon.
Anyway went down the town with hubby today to get some fresh air and some crusty rolls and came back with these.....lol

Vintage index card drawers and I even did some haggling on the price!

Oops, still got one bit of wall to paint....lol

Loads of room and going to be putting all my penny blacks in the drawers and space for more...lol
And in the charity shop found this basket for a £1 to store all my special embellishments

So feeling pleased with oneself even if knackered now ....
Anyway been told to rest so that's what I am intending to do so some blog surfing is in order x

Well am posting this late at night as had one of those ideas where had to put in action or wouldn't bother lol
Made these for my staff as a small thank you gift for all their hard work.
Started off as plain pads ( no covers ) and pencils

Then after a bit of embellishing whilst watching Dredd (new film version) and C.S.I this is the finished result and I even made a extra one

Added some beads, heart charm, ribbon and wooden bird to small pad.
Thanks for all your get well wishes, still feeling rough so might go for a check up but it's only two days now til I finish work so might just hang on x

Think my angle for taking photo was wonky lol but it looks ok in real life :-)

Ingredients used - Dreamees stamp ( they have no name on packing! ) which I stamped twice and coloured with promarkers then cut out second image.
Labels 8 nesties, buttons from stash, glossy accents ( which take forever to dry ) and the hi came from my new dienamics 'happy hellos' die set.

My craft room

Well despite being incredibly hot, not enough time and to my hubby's despair I did it! I dismantled the bed in the craft room as decided that my visitors which aren't many can make do when they come to stay lol
Started the marathon move around at 9pm last night, restarted at 6am in the morning and finally finished at 3pm as needed to also sort out the chaos I caused elsewhere lol
WARNING - picture heavy

So this is the bargain desk I bought ( £10 ) and been storing in our bedroom for ages and its now against the wall where the bed was. Shelf unit is a old cutlery drawer from a car boot sale. Distress markers are in the bag

My storage unit for punches, £2 and I painted white

The coloured drawers hold stamps and the unit to the left was rescued from the school skip and holds paper, cards, and other stuff

More stamp storage and buttons in the top pots, unit £4 ( I think ) from a car boot sale and painted white

To the left of my work desk, memento dewdrop inks in the basket, distress ink holder, papers, case holds my dies

White unit rescued from local chemist, metal drawers hold card scraps

Trolley holds 12 x 12 papers and my promarker storage

Unit holds wool and view of my work desk which was also going to be thrown out at the school
Well that's my tour of the craft room finished and now too tired to craft lol x

Hi all, well I can't believe how long it has taken me to make one simple card! I started this card last Thursday and there it stayed on my desk until today.
It's just so busy at work at the moment preparing for the end of term and new arrivals in September that I have not had time to draw breath.
But anyway pleased to have finished this card so some sense of achievement in the craft area lol

Used my new stamps from the Taunton craft show. Image and greeting is from the stamp set ' Pms and a gun' and the frame set 'Ornamental frames, both by Acid drops & What nots company. Coloured with promarkers, papermania textured card, gems and paper from stash.
Am sure you are all enjoying the lovely weather but have to admit to being glad it was cooler today x
