May Swop Tags and some cat food lids!

Yes you read it right, cat food lids with the odd dog ones thrown into the mix.....lol. I follow a blog where once a week where you can nosey around peeps desk, pick up some tutorials, drool over their stash and also pick up some fab tips and one of them was to use the foil lids for embossing backgrounds. But i thought i would have a go cutting them out to make metal looking cogs and this is the result.
May swop tags

Aren't they effective, had great fun making these tags. The theme was monochrome and i was able to use my new stash ( see post here) on these tags too. Here is a close of one of the tags.

Ingredients for tags

Tim Holtz tag die
Tim Holtz gadget gears die
Distress ink - weathered wood
Mask - cogs (special touch of)
cat & dog food lids
Promarkers - cool greys range
Versamark pen and clear embossing powder
Creative expressions stamp set - steampunk dreams
gems and ruffle from stash

These have gone in the post now so hope they like them, going to have a chilling day as been a hectic week at work so shall be nosing around your blogs and hello to my new followers,x
